Diablo Is Back!

The time has come for us to hop back in the world of Sanctuary to defend its’ people against the Evils that plague it. Diablo IV Beta went off without a hitch and only really had balancing issues with some classes. Other than that, the game was well dialed-in and not far off from being finished. The Blizzard community team made the events exciting and well worth it since it came with its own cosmetic rewards for those who participated. Rewards including a pup backpack and an Ashava the World Boss horn cosmetic for your horse.

But after months of waiting and two beta sessions, the day has finally come to hop in and slay hordes of demons. The game is starting off with five classes: Necromancer, Barbarian, Rogue, Druid, and Sorcerer. With speculation that a sixth class is on the way and may or may not be some “dark crusader”. Time will only tell whether the rumors are true. I will be starting off as Necromancer due to loving the class in Diablo III and going with a full summoner build. I am a completionist so exploring every inch of Sanctuary and completing every bit of the main story is my priority, while, having fun and slaying with the community.

The game is really going to shine with friends teaming up and grinding. The game even rewards you for slaying with friends with an experience boost of 5% with being in a party, and an additional 5% when in close proximity to them. And if you drink an elixir it will give you an additional 5%. All adding up to a whopping 15% experience boost! So keep this in mind as you grind for those levels!

Built like an MMO, Diablo IV is going to be a large time sink, in a good way of course! Some will race for achievements and clout, others will be casually sending demons back to Hell. There is no wrong way to play the game. The game has so much to offer when it comes to different builds for classes, dungeon exploration, story/lore, and competition amongst others. Diablo IV is a place for any gamer, unless you really don’t like isometric ARPGs.

And finally, community! Community is going to be a huge aspect to the game, especially when it comes to endgame content just like any other MMO. It is wise to network, team up, and take on challenges together. Find a Clan and strategize on how to hit your goals as a team. The Retro Raiders is open to all who are looking to have fun and invest in a community whether it is casual or competitive. So make sure to hop over to www.twitch.tv/anarxix to join in on the community!

Diablo IV is going to be an installment that is going to stick around for a while. D1 being in 1996, D2 in 2000, D3 in 2012, and now D4 in 2023 and built where more content can just be added and with all of Sanctuary for us to explore. I’m excited to build new memories with the community, make new friends, and nail my personal achievements. If you are joining in, have fun, don’t be toxic, and I will see you in Sanctuary!
