Set to release on July 9th, 2024, after several beta sessions and tech demos, the game is finally ready for release and fans cannot wait to hop into the world and get started.

The game is designed for those looking for adventure, with a whole land to explore and plenty of opportunities for growth with future expansions. Explore deserted towns and landscapes in a monster-infested world and fight back with modded machine guns and rocket launchers. The game will allow players to team up together to explore the world, run raids, fight bosses, and a lot more.

The game has a heavy focus on cosmetics as well, allowing players to achieve a unique look that makes the game feel a lot more personal. Speaking of personal, everyone gets their own territory that is fully customizable with a variety of different looks and you can place it on any open spot on the map, as many times as you like. The game is just chalked full of customizability options.

And of course, it is a survival game. Cooking food and processing clean water is a part of the normal everyday life in Once Human. Food gives certain benefits which will be useful when fighting specific bosses or give you a boost when traversing the dangerous lands. The map is pretty large and there are plenty of unique locations to visit, all with their own quests and checklist you can complete to “100%” that area. It is every game completionist’s dream.

Overall, Once Human is great experience, especially since it is free-to-play. And anything paid is very likely to just be cosmetic.
